Review: I am Norwegian and hugely proud of my heritage. My grandfather came to the U.S. from Norway in the 1920's and settled in Niagara Falls, NY. My name is Norwegian, my Christmas Eve is Norwegian, I've made a pilgrimage to Norway. Ergo, I LOVE vikings.
The only problem is that I don't like Sandra Hill's vikings. I know she's trying to be funny but her books are anything but. Especially in this latest Deadly Angels book. I made it 34 pages in before I had to give up. Not funny, not charming, hated the main Viking character. I disliked the use of the archangel Michael and the flippant way everyone in the book seemed to feel about God.
